For the past one month, we have been receiving emails on questions about how to get your items to trending and front page.
There are a few golden rules for these
Do NOT do the following:
1. Do not include watermark in your product photo. Product photos with watermark such as your store name or brand will not be included in trending and front page.
2. Do not include borders around your photos. If your product photos contains border around it, it will not be included in the front page.
3. Do not upload photos with dimensions smaller than 600px x600px . Small photos make it difficult for the buyers to identify the items being sold.
4. Do not include wordings or caption in your product photos. If you include wording such as: This is for Iphone 5 , or your email or contact details on the photo, it will not be included in trending or the front page.
Hope that these tips are helpful. Please ensure that you do not perform any of the do not do rules as mentioned above.

There is also an additional update regarding product photos and how to generate more sales.
1. Do not upload product photos that are blur or contain washed out colours. These photos are not attractive and will not be included in trending and front page.
2. If your product photos contain a model, do ensure that the model is not located too far from the photo and the model is the centre of focus in the product photo.
3. Do ensure that your shipping cost is reasonable. Many sellers write in with question about why they are not making sale, and finally found out that their shipping cost is higher than other sellers.
4. Do ensure that you have as many items uploaded to your store as possible. If your store has lesser products than other sellers, the chances of buyers finding your item in search or through trending and front page will be lower. It would be good to have at least 200-300 items uploaded to ensure high exposure. If you have high number of inventories, just keep uploading, as the more items you have, the more views you have, and the higher the conversion rate for your store.
