glad to read the handmade story behind the handmade site that is LUULLA! i am copying some of the official text for my blog and my facebook. my twitter, well ... i never got the hang of tweeting, and never mind pinterest. i think it's the layout of pinterest that bugs me so totally i am never going over there. but ANYWAY

how do we promote the name, luulla.com? especially with the spelling? this could be positive or negative depending on how we approach it. you do know, many folks never figured out that The Other Site is not called Esty LOL.

so is there an easy and fun way to get the spelling out there and out there correctly? i know it is one L two ewe two L then A.

Thanks for the explanation of the name, very nice...but how do you pronounce it? I've tried to tell lots people about the site and every time I have to spell the name out for them so they can find it. Even then some of them can't remember it and have to write it down. A bit clumsy and not very intuitive, I fear, and I also am not sure how to overcome this. Any suggestions?

Luulla is pronounced - ool-lah. In Finnish the beginning letter L is pronounced AL, with the stress on L as in LUU. With just the quick sound of the A as in ALL. It comes out oolah, for us English speakers. Yeah! I just love languages.
