I was sooooo hurt Sensual....I had made 100s of dollars each month there and had 14,000 views this yr alone so far. I did EVERYTHING they asked, sent in receipts and pictures and explainations of how I made everything. Thing is, I have only been sewing for a year, so I thought it was obvious that I was a novice handmade sewer! Anyway, I "faned" you here....maybe this will help your views. +wink+

Thanks ya'll. I will read that Jenny. I thought when I left an abusive man and took our kids with me and started a new life almost 2 years ago, I was home free. Finding work in a small town with crappy economy has not been easy in the least. My shop was all that kept me sane. I have three kiddos and one is disabled. Then this happened and it's like, "what's next God?" I hope to find a job and maybe Etsy will give me some opportunity to sell in the future.

What was the reason that Etsy closed your shop ... I am there and have never heard that they do that. Sorry for your loss of income ... It would be hard if I lost Etsy too! Bonnie

I would hate for that to happen! Sorry this happened to you. I have a second shop on etsy besides my art shop, and I'd be lost without it.

Bonnie: they didn't think I made my items. I showed them pictures of me making my items. I showed them my huge supply closet. I even had non-biased testimonies given to them of people who have witnessed me making my baby items. It's so crazy because again, I don't come close to having the talent, the time, the skill, or the supplies/money as other shops to make handmade items. Yet, I manage to do this while trying to find employment.I can't understand why other shops who crank out items by the dozens aren't questioned, why having so many identical items that don't look handmade aren't put through immense interrogation.

That is the puzzling thing about Etsy. I have a shop there, but I don't feel "safe" there. That is why I started a shop here. FarOut Sprouts.. you seem to be rising above the situation. That determination is what will make you a success here.

Thanks Caly! They surprised me by reinstating my shop this afternoon. However, the damage is done. No views, no interest, and I am sitting here with all of this inventory.

I have had job interviews today, so I am hoping today will be an even better day. :)
