We have made a few changes recently to allow buyer to enter feedback more easily. Yet, these changes have been rolled back as it started to hurt the conversion rate.
A few of the changes made includes showing a sticky message to the buyer providing the buyer the link to provide the feedback directly. And the other option include sending email reminder to buyers so that the buyer can return to provide feedback. Both methods aren't working as well as anticipated as the response from buyers had been low and we are working on other solutions.
As buyer normally leave feedback after they received the goods, and there is a minimal interval of time of a week time between the time of purchase and the time the goods are received. The buyer would normally have forgotten or is reluctant to provide feedback earlier.
We are working on this problem and thinking of a better solution to make leaving feedback optional yet simple and intuitive.
