This particular card started life when I was thinking of a friend in need of cheering up as the rain was lashing the window! This makes a perfect card to let someone know you're thinking of them.

This range started life as a series of pages in my sketchbook project, which has now gone to NYC to start it's worldwide tour in April 2012. My sketchbook was the story of my year in 2011, which mainly centred around my handmade wedding and is a story of my time as a bride. I love sketching, and pattern so there are lots of intricate details to keep everyone engaged, and I used stitching in my original pages to bring the scenes to life. These cards make my sketches accessible to people who won't see the tour.

All detailed doodle cards start off as a hand sketch with some stitching and textiles on the page somewhere, which is then scanned (no actual stitching/texture will be on the card) before being printed onto 300gsm white card. The text is then stuck on the card to add some relief and keeping an essence of my original idea using texture and layering. Each card is 150mm (w) x 100mm (h) with a white C6 envelope, sealed in a clear cello bag.

This card is available with the 'clothes to be hung' or 'mother's day' text so please let me know upon ordering which you would prefer.
