JAKE JANGLES ©2008
Jake Jangles was hatched in a nest last spring, high up in the Madrone Forest out back of the Motherlode Toad Factory. His mother Belle Jangles had a fondness for Jingle Bells. She particularly loved the ones that were weathered a bit, since Jake’s Dad is named “Rusty.” Belle would collect them everywhere she could find them and then securely stash them in the nest they had so carefully built. The rusty jingle bells made such a wonderful and happy sound when the wind whispered through the top of the Madrone forest. Belle waited impatiently for Jake to hatch so she could share the bells with him. Now that Jake is out and about on his own, he also collects bells. He too, loves rusty bells and they do look wonderful against his glossy black plumage. Occasionally, he finds an old rusty key that someone has lost. They are quickly added to his “Rusty” collection. He is hoping one of the lovely Lady Crows in the Madrone Forest will notice how very handsome he looks and sounds as he flies high above the Motherlode Toad Factory and all around the Sierra-Nevada Mountains.
Jake Jangles is not intended as a toy. He is for display and admiration purposes only!
If you would like to make your own Jake Jangles, he is available as a mailed pattern or e-pattern in a separate listing.
