This is another beach photo of mine and it was taken on Long Beach Island, NJ. It was taken last year in November. That's right - November! :) Not really the normal season to go to the beach to lie in the sand, right?! But we were there and we had one of those beautiful, sunny days with very clear air. So no haze in the blue sky like you can sometimes have in summer photos.

You can probably tell by the emptiness of the sandy beach, and the anglers with cars seen in the distance that it is late in the year. But I just love the beach and the ocean, no matter what time of the year. And if they are paired with such interesting clouds and/or waves, I just have to take the photo. Enhancing it a little here and a little there to really bring out the deep blue skies and the contrasting sand and clouds the way I saw them that day. This way you can really see why this is not only a beach photo, but also a cloud photo.
