Gothic purple lace necklace in tatting - 'Rhiannon'

This Celtic necklace has been carefully tatted in high quality dark purple cotton thread,.

A purple velvet faceted glass teardrop bead hangs delicately at the base. In the centre sits a purple velvet Swarovski Crystal bicone bead.

Width of lace motif: slightly under 2 1/2 inches (60 mm)

Length of lace motif: just under 3 inches (73 mm)

Two lengths of black sheer organza ribbon have been threaded through the loops on the top left and right of the motif. The ends of the ribbon are securely attached to silver plated leather crimps. One side is fastened at the top using a silver plated bolt ring.

The necklace (including ribbon, crimps, bolt ring and horizontal distance of motif) is roughly 15 1/4 inches.

I have added a 50mm silver plated extension chain with a tear drop to the top of this creation.
