Flying through the cosmos - beautiful Blue...

Blue Starbird is a lovely little wooden badge- from the tip of her beak to her longest tail feather she measures just over 2 1/2 inches.

Blue has been constructed by using an image detail taken from a larger piece of my three dimensional artwork. She is attached to a piece of spruce, pyrographied around the edge (wood burnt), scrollsawed, lightly sanded, then given 3 coats of a satin water-based varnish. A brooch pin is attached to the back, and each Starbird has the words 'Elf' wood burnt on the back (my signature!).

Blue Starbird also has a friend you will see in the photographs above - he is called 'Red'.... and originally accompanied her on her flight through the universe and beyond! He is available in a separate listing, however I will combine postage if you decide to purchase him as a companion ...
