This couture bag is one of a kind. I designed and handcrafted it from an upcycled Banana Republic wool tweed skirt, and vintage paisley velvet. The tweed is light olive green. The paisley velvet is a beautiful shade of brown with shades of gold, burgundy, white, and green accents.

I have used a vintage leather belt for the strap, and added faux leather trim around the front flap, and the pocket on the back. The front flap is made from equestrian theme fabric, and has a magnetic snap closure. I've added a tiny covered button that has the image of a jockey on it to the small pocket on the back flap. You can use the small pocket on the back...it was originally part of the skirt.

The interior of the bag has been lined with heavy gold satin that I quilted, and has a double interior pocket.

The strap measures 28" long and has a 15" drop.

The bag measures 20" wide and 13.5" deep.
