I became interested in making bridal accessories after working on my own daughters wedding four years ago. I began getting requests from friends to make special heirloom quality bridal items for their daughters weddings. I've enjoyed it so much I've added bridal pieces to my shop. I remember my Mom making hats for my sister and me when we were little. I always wanted to try my hand at it. Even though my Mom is gone now I felt she was guiding me. So here is my very first listing for a hat. I hope I've made her proud.

This hat / fascinator is in three sections making it very versatile. The base of the hat was made completely by me, and is teardrop shaped. The large flower attaches to the hat with a clip.

The teardrop tulle veil is attached to a silver wire comb and tucks under the hat. I have also shown the fascinator hat with my new bandeau style birdcage veil...as shown in photo five.

The hat has been attached to a metal satin covered headband.

Because of the way I've constructed this hat you can remove the veil and the hat after the ceremony if you wish. You will then be able to wear the satin flower alone.

The hat is covered with Alencon lace lined with satin - a satin band surrounds the edge - a simple satin bow peeks over the back of the hat. I have added a tiny blue bow and a wisp of lace to the underside for your something blue.

The satin flower is topped with an organdy flower embellished with pearls and beads, more pearls, a bit of Russian veil, and a wisp of ostrich feathers have been added. There is a clip on the back along with a loop that you can use for a pin to give it more security if you wear it alone.

The headband is permanently attached. The hat will sit on the right side of your head. If you prefer the left side please let me know at the time you place your order in the notes to seller box.
