A graceful gazelle prances about, in this large sized vintage 40's sterling silver animal brooch trimmed in sparkling rhinestones.

The handsome African creature is well cast, and comprised of sterling silver with gold vermeil, in a dynamic pose where the figure is in full running gait.

It has nice detailing including high dimensional spiraled horns and rows of clear faceted rhinestones, pave set from the top of the snout and extending down along the chest, as well as some stones along a back leg.

The spirited gazelle also has a pink rhinestone eye, and a bit of tarnish on it's body, which I have not cleaned since it has a vermeil surface.

It measures a generous 3&1/2 inches across at it's widest point, weighs 24.3 grams and is marked "Sterling".
