This wool ball is filled with the herb LEMON BALM! It has been grown locally to me, pesticide, chemical free. A natural lemon scent that comes from the wool ball. This is an art wool ball, that has been completely hand felted and the design is completely hand done. The Lemon Balm scent is expected to last years. The plant will naturally dry inside the ball and the scent will remain. To continue to activate a stronger aroma, simply give the ball a gentle squeeze.
The ball is made with clean carded sheep wool batting that is filled with an entire sprig of Lemond Balm. I have wrapped the ball with hand dyed wool roving in red/yellow/orange/ivory roving, and added accents using 100% wool yarn. The ball measures almost 10" around in diameter, it's larger in size in than the average dryer ball I make.
This is a neat ornamental piece, bowl filler, set is on a shelf. Add it to a collection. Looks amazing in a vintage jar or bowl.
