This started as an illustrapedia submission on Flickr, where there is a different topic to illustrate each month - January's being snowmen (you can see more of my illustrapedia sketches on my website, below.) This particular illustration came to life after a walk in Wimbledon with my now husband and his mum one wintry day, when there was a hat and pair of gloves hanging on a tree looking for their owner. This is perfect for a child’s bedroom, as a Birthday or Christmas present or simply for anybody who likes cute things.

Sketchbox range

The idea behind this range is that every stroke and mark of every sketch is a reminder that we are unique and it is our imperfections and quirks that make us who we are. Hopefully my whimsical creativity can bring a smile to some faces :)

My original hand sketch of the scene was scanned in which was then coloured digitally and text added before being printed on high gloss photopaper, and set in a cream mount - the mount is 12" x 10" / 305mm x 255mm which fits in a standard frame, and the illustration is 8.5" x 6.5" / 215mm x 165mm

This is only 1 of 100 limited edition prints, which are all signed! Once they are gone there will be no more of this design available.
