Custom-made to order in your choice of fabric/papers, to match your colour scheme.

I have a good selection of papers and fabrics available, or can find something to suit your requirements.

The book is hand-bound with a Japanese stab stitch. It has hard covers, of book-board, covered and lined in your choice of paper.

The covers have a hinged section, to make them easier to open and less likely to be damaged by frequent handling.

The bound edges can be embellished with silk or cotton hand-made bookcloth, in a toning colour. A frayed-edge detail can be added if you wish (see photographs).

The binding is made with strong, waxed linen thread.

There are 20 pages (40 sides) of natural-white, stiff cartridge paper with hand-torn edges. Each page has a folded spacer, to allow a little room for expansion and prevent the book from getting out of shape (see final photo detail).

The book measures 8.25" x 7.25" (21 x 18.5cm) and the pages measure 7" x 7" (18cm x 18cm).
