At jiddum designs we know how much time and effort is put into choosing a child's name and we put just as much time and effort into making our canvases to create a special gift for a very special person.

Product Description

All letters are individually cut from various shades of mixed colour felt and then carefully handstitched using eight stranded colour coordinating embroidery thread. Handcut mixed colour felt circles are then added to create the finished product.

All letters are sized to fill the canvas whether the name you wish to be personalised is long or short.

Each canvas measures 20cm (8 inches) x 50cm (20 inches) and is approximately 1.5cm deep. All canvases come ready to hang.

Please note our canvases can only hold names containing up to 9 letters.

As all of our canvases are handmade to order please allow 4-7 days, after receipt of payment, for your item to be shipped.

The Educational Bit!

The most important word a child will learn to say, read and write is their name.

Children learn the shape of their name from a very early stage and you can help them by pointing to each letter and sounding it out. Children will drink this information in and it will help them on their way to recognising and spelling their name.

As your child gets older allow them to trace over the letters on their canvas which will allow them to get the feel of the letters in their name and start them on their first stages of writing
