I am a mother of two teenage girls living in a small town in Indiana.

I grew up watching my mother knitting, crocheting, looming, etc, all the time which has inspired me all of my life.

Being a teenager I learned macrame at school. At that time it was common to use thick cords, but I found this book where the author pictured bracelets with tiny cords (that's why it's called micro-macrame) and I just loved them!, that's when I started doing, experimenting and combining different styles and techniques.
