I love knitting and love to crochet.

I live outside of Chicago but I am originally from Alaska where the natives have been knitting, weaving and sewing for centuries. Not only did it help to ensure their survival, but decorations were also a way to know which family or tribe a person was from. I have been knitting for over 15 years now since my mother taught me.

Knitting gives me a sense of order, control and sanity in the midst of the chaos, disorder, and madness created not by children, but by these monsters that have over run my house.
