I started making cards and decorating boxes in 2005 as Christmas and Birthday gifts for friends and family, the boxes were originally bead boxes that I used for glass painting, this left me with loads of beads so I started making bag charms. From there, I began making phone and wine glass charms then progressed to decorating wood boxes to store wine glass charm sets and then onto bigger wood boxes! My friends still love the items I make for them but I have so many I needed to start selling - hence the birth of Charms by Joanna in Feb 2012
