WarmWeenies dachshund sweaters, snoods and harnesses are designed and sewn to fit and to stay on our dachshund dogs. I needed to find a way to keep Frodo warm and dry in our Michigan weather, especially winter. Commercially made dog clothes just do not fit a long body with a deep chest and short legs, so I designed and made Frodo's clothes for him. Now I am delighted to share them with you.

I use many natural fabrics along with some blends. Wool is the favorite in my house, but I also sew with silk, cashmere, mohair, cotton and also blends of those fibers. All sweaters and coats are sewn from re-purposed first quality knit fabrics, an environmentally responsible use of resources. They are pre-shrunk before cutting and sewing and are therefore machine wash and dry when finished.

Harnesses are made of new cottons or cotton blends and reinforced with interfacing. The harnesses are also reversible, so you have 2 in 1. They are easily adjusted using hook 'n' loop closures and guaranteed to fit, stay on and be comfy.
