The city of Merlion! Singapore has become one of the hot lists in Asia destinations. Diverse in unique cultures, contemporary architectures, fine arts, astonish attractions that will make your trip anything but boring. No matter if you are a shopaholic, foodie or adventure taker, Singapore will have something ready for you to explore and discover.

Check out the suggested itinerary for 4 days 3 nights. Read on to find useful tips you need to know as you travel to Singapore!

Day 1

Orchard Road

Orchard is a shopping heaven. The whole stretch of the street is lined with endless malls and brands. From mid-range to high-range brands, you name it, you'll have it. You are gonna be spoilt for choice and prepare to shop till you drop! If shopping is the on the top of your list whenever you travel, Orchard is somewhere you should not miss.

With limited time, I would suggest you shop in these top malls.

- Ion Orchard Mall
- Orchard Central
- Plaza Singapura

Approximate Time Needed: 5 hours

Lady M - Tea Time

In between, give your legs some break and have some sweet boost at Lady M. You'll be surprised how big this shop is the moment you step in and walk down the stairs. Love how the deco instils a romantic feel with feminine florals that sets the perfect mood for tea time.

Lady M offers several unique choices of cakes and crepes. I ordered their Green Tea Mille Crepe ($9), Caramel Miroir ($9), Sakura Green Tea ($6) and Yoghurt Red Current caffeine-free tea ($6.50) under their special package of $30 for 2 cakes and 2 drinks with unlimited selection.

The Green Tea Mille Crepe is perfect especially for green tea lovers as it is very smooth in texture. While the Caramel Miroir consists of 3 layers, based with deep caramel and dark chocolate mousse and sponge cake topped with a jelly-like texture. Have a sip on the tea to balance off the sweet in the palate.

Gardens by the Bay - Night Scene

For the night, I head on to Gardens by the Bay for their Rhapsody Light Show. Come and let the lights and music entertain you. It plays and shows daily at 7.45pm and 8.45pm for 15 minutes. When you are there, get the best spot and lie down to enjoy the spectacular show. If the seats are filled, just find a spot on the floor, you'll prefer that then to break your neck later.

Admission: Free

Marina Bay Sands

Next, head to Marina Bay Sands's promenade for the next light show. It has the new Spectra water and light show with lasers beaming for magnificent effects. This show is available at 8 and 9pm daily with an extra show at 10pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The duration of the show is 15 minutes.

Admission: Free

Then, you may walk around in the mall and the casino. The admission is free for foreigners, just remember to bring your passports for authentication.

This area is a great place for taking a stroll and enjoying the night scene of Singapore. As you walk back, you'll walk across this Helix Bridge. The architecture of the bridge is very fascinating and unique that makes it insta-worthy.

Day 2

Gardens by the Bay (Flower Dome & Cloud Forest

Yes back to Gardens by the Bay during the daytime for Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. Enjoy the fresh scent of florals along with colourful views from the blossoming florals as you start on your discovery. In Flower Dome, there are several gardens at each section with different types of flowers in it: Mediterranean Garden, Californian Garden, South African Garden, the Baobabs and etc.

Interestingly, the flowers will be changes and decorated based on the seasonal themes. When I was there, it was still the Chinese New Year Theme.

Next, the Cloud Forest

Here you'll witness the world's tallest indoor waterfall at 35 meters. The Cloud Walk and Treetop Walk will take you around the waterfall for a magnificent view.

Flower Dome & Cloud Forest

Operating Hours: Daily from 9am to 9pm
Admission: $28 for both conservatories
Estimation duration of the visit: 2.5 hours

Tips:

If you would love to enjoy the lighted up view, it would be best to go at about 3-4pm in the afternoon. In time to enjoy the sunset view as well.

I purchased the ticket online on Klook at $22 and with a further discount using its promo code.

Bugis Street

At Bugis Street, is the best budget shopping place. This is where you'll get trendy clothings, accessories, souvenirs at an affordable and reasonable price. At $10, you are able to get a top or a skirt. Oh, I love the korean-style clothing shops there. However take note that the clothes cannot be tried. Some of the shops have pretty similar stocks. So maybe you would wanna scout around the stalls first before making the final purchase.

Operating Hours: Daily from 11am - 10pm
Estimated time needed: 3 hours (depending on individuals)

Ah Chew Dessert @ Liang Seah Street

Mango Sago with Pomela (left) - $5.80 and White Fungus Papaya with Almond (right) - $3.50

Ah Chew Dessert famous for its Chinese traditional desserts served in authentic ceramic bowls that make the taste and feel on-point! You'll see a long queue and always packed with people. But not to worry, as the queue shortens pretty fast.

Long queues have always been associated with great food in many countries and this applies to Singapore as well.

Operating Hours: 12.30pm - 11.30pm (Sun - Thur), 1.30pm - 12.30pm (Fridays and Saturdays)
Address: 1 Liang Seah Street #01-11 Liang Seah Place

Clarke Quay - Nightlife

Clarke Quay is where the nightlife is and begins. Lined with pubs and dining restaurants. If you are looking for the adrenaline, lively music and vibrant atmosphere, Clarke Quay is where you belong.

Want some adrenaline rush? Go for its GX-5 Extreme Swing!

Day 3

Universal Studios Singapore

Now it's the time for you to be a child and have the fun of your life at Universal Studios Singapore! Make full use of the one-day pass to tick off every ride in there. Well, for me, I make sure all roller coaster rides are tried, and they are definitely on my priority list.

Be prepared as certain top rides requires about 30 minutes to 1.5 hours of waiting. So, it is advised to be there as early as possible so that you can enjoy most rides till the very last min. Avoid going on a weekend because the long queue will be a dreading process. If you want, get the express pass.

Operating Hours: 10 am - 7pm
Admission: Adult $76.00, Child $56.00

Tips:

Check out for the promotion available. For me, I had a 10% discount and free Ez-link card with purchase made with a Mastercard

Chinatown

Chinatown is a must-go place in Singapore as well. A place full of cultures where you'll see temples, museums and heritage buildings. Check out the street market that hosts hundreds of stalls selling silk robes to lucky cats. I went to Chinatown after USS but you can call it off after that as you would be awfully drained from all those rides the whole day. You can linger around USS and discover the rest of the Sentosa island. And keep Chinatown for the next day. Not many shops are opened after 8pm. So it would be best to come earlier in the afternoon.

Operating hours: 10am - 10pm
Estimated Duration Needed: 1.5 - 2 hours

Day 4

Tiong Bahru Food Centre

When you mention Tiong Bahru, you'll be most probably asked to try their famous Chwee Kuey. Head over to Tiong Bahru Food Centre to satisfy your street local food cravings. Not only Chwee Kuey, Tiong Bahru Fishball, Hokkien Mee, Wanton Noodle, Lee Hong Kee Cantonese Roasted are all there waiting for you. So keep your stomach empty to try this food galore.

Haji Lane

Haji Lane is where you can find all the hipster cafes, boutiques and restaurants in a fairly narrow lane. Love the murals and the artsy walls that totally lighten up and sets in a different mood the moment you set foot in Haji Lane. To shop or for a stroll, come and experience yourself and you'll be glad to include this in your trip itinerary.

So here is the sum of the itinerary of 4 Days and 3 Nights in Singapore! This is a pretty chill itinerary while covering the main attractions in this beautiful city.
