Theatrette is inspired by Marie Antoinette and products are musings on what she might have worn had she lived in a more modern era. In the modern romantic style, we make items with carefully chosen materials. All our dresses are made to order.
The top & skirt are gathered and loose. Pure silk chiffon line the square neckline and also make up the frill at the sleeve. Delicate Japanese-made lace separates the silk chiffon frill from the sleeve. And as with all Theatrette dresses, lined with pure silk lining.
Comes with satin ribbon as shown for sash (length 2.4m, width 50mm).
This dress could be worn with a simple, loose hairstyle dotted with white daisy hair clips.
Materials: Outer-fabric from Japan (polyester satin yoryu), lined with 100% silk. Lace from Japan. Neckline & sleeve trimmings are pure silk chiffon.
Our usual sizes are:
Size 1 - Waist (26-27")
Size 2 - Waist (28-29")
Size 3 - Waist (30-31")
However, the waist is elasticated so it can fit a flexible range of waist sizes. Please email jessica@high-on-dreams.com if you have any queries on sizing. We make to order, so if your size is not stated, let us know so we can customise the sizing.
Because the outer material is soft, it is hemmed with hand-stitches (machine stitches are too heavy), if you order this, please also give us your height so we can modify it to fit you. Just place your order and drop us an email/note to let us know your sizing/height details.
