Really sharp box here... Solid Figured Bubinga with flowing grain from side to side. Ebony miter keys that pop off the Bubinga.

The joinery on this box is miters with genuine Ebony miter keys which have a dual purpose in adding both a decorative element as well as making the miter joint stronger.
The padded lining is upholstered with a dark brown suede fabric
Finished with a variety of products to enhance the grain as well as provide a high-gloss appearance. Finishing is the most variable and potentially complex part of woodworking. I easily spend the majority of time in my builds in finishing. Many stages... many products are involved in order to achieve what you see in my final products.
