This well-executed memory box has all the fine details including an elegantly hand inlaid border on the top, upholstered lining, and attractively finished to a high shine gloss.

The sides of this box are Brazilian Cherry. The top is Tiger Maple which takes a very dynamic appearance in varying light. Inlaid into the top is a decorative banding.
The padded lining is upholstered with a quality black velvet fabric.
Finished with a variety of products to enhance the grain as well as provide a high-gloss appearance. Finishing is the most variable and potentially complex part of woodworking. I easily spend the majority of time in my builds in finishing. Many stages... many products are involved in order to achieve what you see in my final products.
