ABOUT THE PRODUCT: This leather bracelet was designed by Pakistani-American designer, Lena Ehsan Jafery and is made of PVC leather panels laced together with silk ribbon and rounded off with gold plated strips. Taking her inspiration from a ballerina's slipper, the bracelets are elegant yet sturdy and will fit any wrist.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER: Lena Ehsan Jafery is a 21 year old Pakistani-American artist, designer, and writer. Lena has won multiple awards including being a Young Arts Finalist, and a Scholastic Art & Writing Award recipient. Her work in textiles, sculpture, photography & fashion has been featured in juried art shows and exhibitions, including at the Kennedy Center and in a New York City gallery. She is currently a student in the fashion department of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
ABOUT HER COLLECTION: Lena’s collection for Avery and May is inspired by the soft pastels and elegant lines of the ballerina’s form from the lacing of the pink slipper to the tutu around her slim waist.
