The cat can be made with any yarn and crochet hook size of choice. The one in the picture is made with Paintbox Yarn Cotton DK yarn and a 2.25 mm (size B) hook. It turned out 6 cm (2.4 inches) tall.
The following stitches are used:
Regular stitch, decrease stitch, increase stitch, slip stitch
The following methods are used:
Crocheting in rounds, starting with a magic circle, making a chain, crocheting two rounds into one, changing colours
