This bath bomb encapsulates the beauty of the Irish countryside in Spring. Around March time, the landscape is covered in a bright yellow smear of gorse flowers. Known since ancient times by locals for it's healing properties, the gorse plant is a symbol of Ireland. People have used gorse for many things, from placing it on the floor of their country cottages and making wines, to using it for an array of skin ailments. The gentle perfume of gorse flowers, which is similar to that of coconuts, is complimented with sweet sage, also an ancient herb. It contains real gorse and sage flowers picked and dried at my home here in West Cork.
To be used in a steaming hot bath for full effect.

-Gorse features prominently in Irish mythology. It was also used in ancient Irish medicine to cure scarlet fever in children and has been used to make wine for centuries.
-Sage is known to be packed full of nutrients as well as being naturally antioxidant and antiseptic. It is also used in women's health for menopausal symptoms. There are many historical accounts of sage being used as a medicinal herb - the ancient Greeks and Romans deemed it sacred and used its essential oil in temples whereas the Egyptians used it as a fertility solution.

All my bath bombs are made here in West Cork, Ireland. I source most of my ingredients locally, where I can. I add Epsom salts and good quality oils to all my bath bombs for optimum relaxation and add other natural ingredients to create that luxurious bathing experience.
I package my bath bombs in bio-degradable packaging as I aim to keep every part of the process as environmentally-friendly as possible.
