The Pet Identity Tag Is lightweight and is made from the following metals: * Brass and Copper discs are 1.2mm Thick * Aluminium Is 1.5mm thick or 2mm thick depending on style chosen.
* The size of tag is 32mm in size
* Charms are made from Stainless Steel or Tibetan
* All tags are fitted with heavy duty split rings to connect to your dogs collar or harness I have domed the metal which gives the pet disc a unique look instead of being flat. Some people like their pets name on the front of the dog tag and some don't. I reccommend 5-6 characters looks best, if name is longer I can do a design of hearts, paws or bones etc. The bottom disc has all your personal details hand stamped on the reverse. Please see uploaded images. I have included a photo which shows the reverse of the Pet Tag. Please note on brass and copper all text will appear black If you would like a full stop instead of a heart to separate the number from the address please advise in the convo otherwise I will use a heart. PROCESS INVOLVED INTO MAKING MY HAND STAMPED PET TAGS I use alphabet metal stamps which are hammered individually into the metal which gives these tags their unique character, these should not be confused with engraved tags. When fixing your new pet identity tag to your pets collar, please ensure you attach the lead to the large split ring and not the small one, if you attach to the small ring this may stretch the split ring and may loosen the disc. Metal on metal will naturally scratch and scuff. Aluminium is a lightweight metal and overtime may get scratched and become dull, It is hypo-allergenic and will not cause skin irritations. I use copper & brass on the pet discs, overtime these metals will tarnish. I apply a special metal protector to the tags to slow this process down but overtime this may wear off. This is not a fault and is unavoidable. l advise giving the tags a regular rub with a microfibre cloth and a metal polish cleaner like Autosol, Mothers Mag or Brasso to keep their shine. These are not design faults and are considered normal 'wear and tear', therefore a refund will not be given under these circumstances.
