This stunning set is made of Tagua’s sticks accented with Asai seeds and Achira seeds from the rainforest in Peru.
The seeds come from a palm tree from the Amazon rainforest in Peru.
This gorgeous and unique set has been inspired by Lima’s pre-Inka culture.
The necklace and earrings feature geometric shapes recalling Inka iconography.
The Tagua Nut or Vegetable Ivory:
The Tagua nut is the endosperm of a seed that comes from the palm species Phytelephas aequatorialis.
The palm tree that produces the Tagua Nut grows naturally in the rain forests of South America where it is a sustainable and renewable resource.
Tagua is also known as "vegetable ivory" for it's similarities to animal ivory texture, color, and aging processes.
This necklace set has been dyed and is very lightweight.
