PDF Pattern to make to make this file folder organizer. Finished size is 14" X 40 1/2"
I've made a lot of pocket organizers over the years but this is by far my favorite. It's easy, sturdy, functional, and pretty. I use this myself in my studio to keep my projects, special orders, and book keeping in check. This would also be great in a home office or kitchen to hold recipe clippings, coupons, bills, kids' school papers, family mail, etc. It will keep your life organized.
It holds 8 file folders but of course you can adjust the pattern to hold as many as you prefer.
I chose a decorator fabric because it's a little heavier than your standard 100% cottons. If you use a heavier fabric like that, you won't be having any shifting or bowing while it's hanging.
It's easy to make and can be completed in a few hours for the intermediate or advanced seamstress.
The binding is super easy and if you've never mitered a corner before, you will be amazed at how simple it can be with beautiful results.
I've made my patterns very easy to read and understand. I give you a complete list of everything you will need to complete the project. I've broken everything down into step by step instructions and have included LOTS of full color photos and illustrations. The pattern pieces are very crisp and neatly drawn using a computer program.
