This rocker sunsuit was handmade by myself using premium quality quilter's cotton fabric in designer prints. I have been creating handmade baby clothes for the last couple of years.
This lined sunsuit has a hot pink, polka dotted yoke (top part) and a black, polka dotted bottom. My mannequin doesn't wear a diaper or have legs so the bottom hem part doesn't flair out on the sides/back and conform to the thighs as it would on your child. This sunsuit has three snaps in a snap tape fashion, which is ideal, more durable, and MUCH softer to the skin.
The waist portion, as well as the legs/crotch have baby elastic and are gathered up in a pretty and flattering fashion. The waist measures 20 inches, unstretched. Each leg hole measures 10 inches, unstretched.
The crisscross straps measure 22 inches. The can easily be hemmed up by the buyer if desired. The mix-matched clear pink buttons on the back are decorative only. To keep straps in place, hot pink, grosgrain ribbon was sewn onto the part where the straps cross. Because my mannequin doesn't have a back, the straps weren't able to lay flat like it would on your child.
The unique, loop through buttonhole style of the straps on the front of the sunsuit shows more creativeness and attention to detail that was put into this sunsuit.
