Known by many names these earrings can be worn as pierced earrings or as clip ons. Some call them ear pins, ear sweeps, ear climbers or even just clip ons. Made out of stainless steel memory wire they will not bend out of shape.
This style of earring is so versatile and can be worn by anyone. If you have pierced ears and want to put them through your piercing you can and then just "swing" or "sweep" them up or they can even be worn in a more traditional way and left to hang down. If you do not have pierced ears they slip onto your earlobe and hold on by the spring tension in the wire. They do not hurt and are easy to wear. They are less prone to being snagged and falling off since they sweep up the ear as opposed to traditional clip ons that usually hang down. (these can only be worn hanging down if you have pierced ears)
This pair has a lovely turquoise colored howlite center bead with silver beads on either side. Wear these with jeans or anything. Turquoise is always in style but is said to be one of THE colors in fashion for 2012.
