Hi! Thanks for taking a look at our handmade California Wall Art with the California State Flag design. This piece is made from Poplar with a wood burn finish.
This piece of wood started out as left-over scrap material from a recent kitchen remodel. Instead of throwing the extra wood out, we decided to make something of it! First, we cut out the California silhouette and carved out the state flag design. Then we sanded it down, burned the edges, and finished it with a final clear coat.
The slight burning around the edges offers a rustic feel and would be a great gift for someone special or be a good addition to your home.
Approximate measurements: 19.5” x 16”
This item is shipped ready to hang on the wall.
Currently this design comes in five stains:
- Natural with wood burn (Current Listing)
- Dark Gray with wood burn
- Brown with wood burn
- Light grey (no wood burn)
Please note that each piece is hand made from different sheets of wood; the final design may vary a little bit from the image shown in this listing.
