This one of a kind little jewel of a purse is part of my Small Works of Art Collection I call "Tidbits...named after my sister who was called Tidbits as a child. My "Tidbits" style purse is small, yet large enough for a cell phone and other essentials.
I made this purse from rich, red painted silk that I quilted to give it added strength. It has an iridescent quality to it. It's lined with red silk that has also been quilted. The first photo is truer to the actual color of the purse. The flash made it look a little to orange in some of the pictures.If you have any questions please contact me.
The strap has been padded for extra strength, and is held in place with tiny rosettes that have rhinestones in the center. The strap measures 36" from the top of the antique gold kisslock frame. It has a 17.5 drop.
The brooch on the front is made from layers of pink and red silk, and has a beautiful vintage rhinestone button in the center. There is another permanent tiny rosette with rhinestone center at the top of the purse.
The antique brass kiss lock frame is 4" wide

I started with a StudioCherie pattern..making changes to the original design. All of my purses are made by me in my studio. I consider each one to be an individual small work of art.
