I created this piece while watching a season of The Tudors and named it after Jane Seymour, third wife of Henry VIII. I wanted to create a piece that a bride would be proud to wear on her special day, so I chose sky blue quartz teardrops for the "something blue" and gorgeous creamy iridescent keishi pearls to go with it. Hundreds of pearls are strung on gold-fill pins and wirewrapped to create a truly luxurious show-stopping piece.
The entire creation is finished off with an ornate gold vermeil Bali clasp, which I feel fits the grandeur of this necklace. I believe this is my greatest creative accomplishment to date.
This is a necklace to wear on your wedding day and will undoubtedly garner some oohs and aahs while you walk down the aisle. I think it would be beautiful with an antique lace dress or a simple strapless gown.
If you have any questions regarding this piece please do not hesitate to contact me using the "conversation" feature. Layaway plans are available.
