A handfasting cord in lilac, ivory and silver, comprising three separate elements, or lengths. One is hand braided ivory satin cord, one is hand corded metallic silver braid and the final element is a satin cord including two shades of lilac with gold strands.
Both ends of each cord are finished with a silver end cap, then decorated with numerous handmade embellishments, incorporating crystals and gemstones, unique wire wrapped glass beads, vintage venetian glass beads and Swarovski crystals.
The three cords are periodically threaded tied to eachother at intervals with decorative wire wrapping - this allows the cords to flow freely and give every sensation of movement, whilst still making them practical to tie during the handfasting ceremony.
The braided cord section is approx 1.3m long, and the embellishments add an extra 12cm or so at each end, resulting in a complete cord length in the region of 1.5m

All handfasting cords are posted in a luxury ivory coloured keepsake box, and I also have a number of 'upgraded' keepsake boxes available for when you want something a little bit special for your cord. As with the cords, the boxes can also be personalised to suit you.
I can also make jewellery items using the same elements as the handfasting cord, so that all members of the wedding party can complement the happy couple, as well as eachother. Examples would include earrings and necklaces, as well as bracelets for men, women and children.
