Inside are two batting layers, one cotton and the other of Insul-Bright (tm) to keep hot away from your hands. I use mine every day and cook mostly with cast iron pans, these do a great job at keeping my hands protected.
These lovelies measure approx. 5.5 inches by 7 inches with rounded corners. Metric measurements are approx. 14 cm by 17.7 cm. These are quilted freehand with a Leaf design in the middle.
I suggest wash normal and dry gentle or hang dry.
