Granville At The Warehouse
Acrylic painting on canvas, by Morgan Ralston
2012
Dimensions:
36" x 48" x1.5" LARGE
The biggest cityscape I've painted, ever! This HUGE painting was painted from a photo shoot I took of Granville Street in Vancouver. The image is of Granville, facing northbound on the west side of the street by Caprice and the Warehouse Pub. I wanted to depict the hustle and bustle and warm glow of Granville Street in Vancouver's downtown club district. This painting is so large and expressive it's like there's a series of mini abstract paintings tucked inside the detail of the neon lights. I'm loving this one!
Using strong colours these cityscape paintings look gorgeous under all sorts of lighting conditions. Any ambiance will accentuate and punctuate their beauty. Because of the powerful bold colour usage this paintings appear larger than their actual dimensions and can fit well in any wall space.
This is an ORIGINAL acrylic painting on a wrapped stretched canvas. This painting does not require framing as it has been painted on a deep gallery canvas. The sides of the canvas have been painted to compliment the colour scheme.
