Hello, I live in a house overlooking the woods, and it is here I can work on my next quilt, blanket, or plan my next project.
I have a life long interest in textiles, and am just as happy sewing by hand as using a machine. My interests in quilts began when I lived for a while in California, and attended a quilting group.
Walking into a textile or quilting exhibition feels like coming home, my spirits are lifted as I am surrounded by the creativity, hard work and perseverence of other artists.

I enjoy the great outdoors, walking with my dog Maddy in the woods, countryside, or down on the beach, especially when we go to southwest cornwall, where I can take photos, draw and paint.
The name Alice And Florence came from our grandmothers, our inspiration.
