I began desingning and making children's clothes and accessories as a side job while working a marketing job. When my son was 2 he was diagnosed with a siezure disorder and I needed to stay home with him. I put my designing and sewing skills to work full time and hence, Monkey Baby (TM) was in full swing. I worked hard to gain exposure, and within time was providing products for special celebrity events and celebrity baby gifts. Monkey Baby (TM) has been featured in magazines highlighting Eco-friendly products, unique products and has been featured on other TV broadcasts for back to school wear, and specialy items.
In addition to our products, I used my background in girl scouts, Hospitality coordinator for MOPS and volunteer for Queen for a Day, and taught Manners Classes for girls 4-7 in some of our local children's boutiques. Oooh La La, it's fun to be a girl! Thank you for supporting hand-made!
