About the Designer
Hello, my name is Dawn Kellett I attended business management school at Champlain College and have decided to put my love for jewelry into a business. It is fun for me to look at nature and become inspired by its beauty in color or structure. I am part American/Canadian Indian and some of my families work is featured at the Echo Learning Center in Burlington, Vermont. Gordon Day from Dartmouth College has studied my families Indian Heritage. I bring my heritage up as something in me calls me to create with my hands and I believe it comes from my grandmother, her mother and my people. When I was a little girl my grandmother would take long walks with me mostly in silence, and it was during this time that I studied light and color. I have fallen in love with natures infinite color combinations and I hope that some of them come to view in my work.
