Miss Knit Nat is a range of hand knitted and crochet accessories including snoods, scarves, headbands, hats, and gloves. All of my items are designed and created by me in my studio in Surrey, England.
I have always had a love for knitting and crochet which was rediscovered a few years ago and lead to the launch of Miss Knit Nat in 2011, and I have been building my collection since then. I grew up on the edge of the New Forest and close to the sea and a lot of my items are inspired by long walks on winter days in the forest, and sunny days by the seaside.
For my winter collection I use chunky warm and cosy merino wools, and in summer I use cotton mixes for the lighter items. The thing that really inspires me about knitting and crochet is texture, and I will often start a design based on a stitch, and then watch how that translates into a finished item.
