About Wyrdswell Designs
I have been crocheting and knitting for many years, and of the two, crochet is my absolute favourite method of fibre crafting. I love the geometric quality of mosaic designs as well as the colours and motifs of folk knitting all over the world: Scandinavian, South American, and Central Asian designs are my favourites. I enjoy adapting old motifs to modern items. My favourite fibres to work with are Icelandic Lopi, Alpaca, bamboo, and corn/wool blends. This store is borne from my desire to share this work and to do my part to promote cottage industry in a modern way.
