For the last two months, the team has been working on one of the most requested feature by our sellers, namely product listing variation.

Sellers often state that they sell product items that consists of multiple variation such as sizes, colours, patterns and SKUs. Although buyers can leave this important piece of information to the seller during checkout, some buyers didn't leave such information. Seller will then need to communicate with the buyer to obtain the information before shipment and therefore this increases the processing time required.

Today, we are releasing the product listing variation feature to all sellers. With this new features, seller can specify the variation they need for each item during product upload. These variations are information such as colours, sizes and any other variations that the seller can define themselves. The listing variation will then appear as multiple drop down list on top of the Add to Cart button.

For items with product variation, buyers will need to provide these listing variation information to the seller during the time of checkout, and these information such as colours and sizes will appear in the invoice page. Such information will allow the seller to ship an item more confidently knowing that they will not ship the wrong sizes, colours or SKU, and it also will eliminate the need for seller to contact the buyer to obtain these extra information each time after a sale.

If you wish to apply listing variation to your existing item, you can go to the edit product page and click on the product listing variation accordion tab to apply them. If you wish to bulk apply listing variations to more items, you can visit the Manage Store-> Seller Tools section, and click on the Product Variation Profile accordion tab to perform these actions.

The listing variation can also be applied through the Add Product page during the time a new product is added.
