My name is Suzanne and I began crafting in late 2008. I started out making jewelry and opened my first shop on Etsy in 2009. I grew tired of jewelry making and found my true love, sewing plushies and dolls by hand. I also taught myself how to embroider by hand. I founded House of Plush (on Etsy) on May 6, 2010. I started out making and selling small plushies, and eventually the scale of my work became bigger and I also started making rag dolls. I also dabble in paper crafts from time to time. I have a disability and crafting is my main coping strategy to deal with my disability.
