This is an inside-out ring bearer bowl which makes the ring rather throne than nest. The lace imprint you can see here origins from a once beautiful vintage French nightgown I found on an antique market. Unfortunately the dress was damaged beyond repair on other parts, but I saved the gorgeous lace neckline and use it now to make these stunning ring bearer bowls.
****So you see: You got already something old on something new! And as for something blue...maybe a beautiful satin ribbon for your ring?....finding something borrowed I'll leave to you ;) ****
The custom is to keep the ring safe until it finds it's place around the finger of bride and groom where it will remain until the end of days.
Some keep it in a box, some strap it on a pillow and others put it in a bowl where it nests until it's big moment has come.
As it is the traditional symbol of love I thought the ring should not hide in a box or sink into a pillow. It should throne.
if you wish I can produce with the same design more wedding decoration or ceramic wedding cards.Have a look in my shop to get inspired!

The south of France is known for it's rich smells of Lavender, pine, thyme, rosemary (herbs de Provence) and I am more than happy to add some little twigs to your package....for the full sensation of having purchased an item from France :D
But as I know that some people might be allergic to it - it is not standard.
If you want me to add something....just let me know, my garden is full and it is of cause for free!
