The print itself measures 8.75 x 6" on BFK Rives paper and is colored with a process called chine colle. It was hand printed with a luscious black oil-based etching ink.
**What's an "Artist' Proof"?
When someone refers to a work of art as an "Artist' Proof" (typically recognized by the letters "AP" at the bottom of a print), they are informing the viewer that the work of art was merely a "test", if you will, for the original works to come. For this piece in particular I was testing ink colors and chine colle paper before I started my actual edition. Thus, making this work of art less expensive.
Thanks for looking.
