When fixing your new pet identity tag to your pets collar, please ensure you attach the lead to the large split ring and not the small one, if you attach to the small ring this may stretch the split ring and may loosen the disc. Metal on metal will naturally scratch and scuff. Aluminium is a lightweight metal and overtime may get scratched and become dull, It is hypo-allergenic and will not cause skin irritations. I use copper & brass on the pet discs, overtime these metals will tarnish. I apply a special metal protector to the tags to slow this process down but overtime this may wear off. This is not a fault and is unavoidable. l advise giving the tags a regular rub with a microfibre cloth and a metal polish cleaner like Autosol, Mothers Mag or Brasso to keep their shine. These are not design faults and are considered normal 'wear and tear', therefore a refund will not be given under these circumstances.
