Perfect for the brides who are looking for something a little more subtle, this slim handfasting cord has been constructed from a rich purple braided cord and a cream and gold threaded braid. Also incorporated is purple velvet and organza as well as gold triim and gold embellishments.
Both ends of the cream strand is finished with a gold spiral end cap, then decorated with a hoop and wire bead embellishment. The braided purple cord is finished with an engraved gold bead, and the remainder of the strands have been either capped with a small gold cabouchon, or heat sealed to prevent fraying.
The cords are plaited together and finished with a knotted section at the ends - this allows the cords to flow freely and give every sensation of movement, whilst still making them practical to tie during the handfasting ceremony.
The braided cord section is approx 1.1m long, and the loose end sections add an extra 10cm or so at each end, resulting in a complete cord length in the region of 1.3m

All handfasting cords are posted in a luxury ivory coloured keepsake box, and I also have a number of 'upgraded' keepsake boxes available for when you want something a little bit special for your cord. As with the cords, the boxes can also be personalised to suit you.
Keepsake boxes purchased at the same time as a handfasting cord will not incur any postage costs.
