Born and bred in the wonderful North of England, in the wet and wonderful Lake District, I now live and work in our capital city. My secret garden, the allotment, provides me with the wonderfully inspiring energy of nature, and the sound of young laughter makes me continually grin. Part of my day is spent working in an inspiring primary school where I am a teaching assistant (its a 'first name' policy school, and is the friendliest happiest place to be!). The rest of my day is dedicated to creating in my lovely home studio.
